WHAT IS NOTRE DAME DAY?
Notre Dame Day is a 29-hour celebration of the University we love. The Notre Dame Family competes to raise money for their favorite areas of campus, and a live broadcast tells hundreds of amazing stories of students, professors, alumni, and friends of Notre Dame who are making an impact all over the world.
While Notre Dame Day as an event mainly refers to the broadcast beginning on April 28, 2019, at 6:42 p.m., you can already make donations to, and cast votes for, your chosen organization(s). By making a gift of $10 or more, you’ll receive five votes to cast towards your favorite cause, club, or residence hall so they can win their share of a $1.2 million challenge fund.
You can learn more about the event, including broadcast details, by visiting its website.
WHAT IS THE MONEY USED FOR?
Each organization will have different uses for the funds received through Notre Dame Day. Common uses for funds received by the Law School's student organizations include: summer scholarships for current students, speaker events, and merchandise production. Many organizations will have descriptions of their intentions for the funds they receive on their fundraising pages. (The use of funds received through Notre Dame Day, as with all funds allocated to student organizations, is approved by the University's Student Activities Office.)
